Ekiti-born political activist and Special Adviser to President Buhari on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi Ojudu has advised the outgoing Governor of the State, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose to urgently retire himself into exile upon expiry of his tenure, or stand great penalties for every wrong allegedly committed against the State and her people.

Ojudu, who declared his ambition at the Oke …. In Ekiti, Friday, expressed his confidence to take over leadership of the State from 2018.

The former journalist told the crowd, amidst cheers, that he has collated all evidences of how the incumbent plundered resources of the State, and also of crimes against humanity committed allegedly by Fayose.

“There is a disease called Oshoko. This disease has hounded and forced our good people in Ekiti State into involuntary thuggery, complacency and hopelessness”, Ojudu said in local dialect as he emphasised that people of Ekiti State used to be known with dignity and respect as against the unfortunate “thuggish” image now painted for them by the representation they have in the incumbent Governor, Mr. Fayose.

“Our children deserve to go to school and acquire qualitative education”, he continued.

“I have a history, I went to school, also went to the University of Lagos; I worked as a journalist at the Guardian News Company before going to serve our people in my capacity as a Senator, before my new status as adviser to the President on Political Matters”

Ojudu boasts that he holds mastery to demystifying Fayose. He assured that he had had cut fayose’s fangs earlier on to emerge as Senator, adding that he’s ready to repeat the feat to rescue Ekiti State from the stranglehold the State is supposedly being held by the incumbent.
